Good for you. If you are reading this you are as thorough as I am.
I know that the following may strike you as unprofessional, but I believe just the opposite is true.
I am an honest, hard working individual. I will attempt to fulfill each contract as they appear on the page you arrived here from. BUT, my rates were developed by estimating the time it takes me to accomplish the obliged pages. It takes into account a reasonable amount of technical complexity and oh-you-changed-your-mindedness. The operative word here is REASONABLE, and I dictate its definition. If I feel in the development of your web site that we have reached a point at which it is no longer profitable for me to keep changing it, I will communicate this to you in writing.
At that point you will receive an e-mail which includes the following points:
- I can no longer absorb the endless changes you are asking for.
- I expect the second half of monies due to be paid immediately (the first half having been paid before I began the work).
- All work stops and remains in my possession until your payment has cleared the bank.
- Once that has happened, the client has a choice. I will release all of their material to
them, and all obligation between us is at an end, or, we can establish a new
contract specifying what it will cost per hour for us to keep "developing" the web site.
If I have decided to send you this e-mail is not open to discussion. It is also not contingent on how many pages of the particular contract have been finished.
This being said, know that in the years in which i have been designing web sites for people the situation i infer above has only taken place once (which is why I wrote this link!).
I can not operate my business if, for instance, I am changing someone's front page endlessly from one shade of pink to another, or animating the door which opens at 17 different speeds until the client decides that they need to see the 8th speed again in order to decide. In other words, a line must be drawn and since I am the expert in this case, it is for me to draw.

Thank you for your understanding and may none of this ever come into play between us!
